1936 Biere is a pale lager brewed by Locher Appenzeller Bier at the foot of the Swiss Alps. They claim 1936 is made from the purest water, organic hops and golden barley grown at over 1200m to give it a unique, fresh and ultra crisp taste. They also claim to be a leader in the field of climate protection. I fear the thin mountain air has affgone to their heads, as in reality this is a fairly dull beer lacking in both depth and character.
While it is probably unfair on The Brobecks to be likened to an insipid, bland beer their song 'Boring' sums up 1936 perfectly. "Boring, all of us are bored. Oh what are you boring me for?" Dallon Weekes questions. I couldn't have put it better myself Dallon.
Perhaps the Locher Family would be better served knocking the brewing on the head and concentrating solely on saving the world instead.
